Obituary of Scott Ayers

Ayers, D. Scott Penfield: Peacefully, surrounded by his family, May 28, 2011, age 59. Predeceased by his mother, Joan. Survived by his beloved wife, Pat (Kelly); son, Zack; father, Don (Delores) Ayers of Hamilton, OH; brother, Greg (Paula) Ayers of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Mary Howard; mother-in-law, Joan Kelly; brother-in-law, Jim Kelly; his nieces & nephews, Ryan, Cady & Halie Ayers, Sarah & Matt Howard; many other loving relatives & friends; and with special love and regard to Alex Bezek. Scott was a devoted husband, father and friend who inspired us through his valiant battle with cancer, his coaching, mentoring and help and love for others. He will be dearly missed by all. Calling, Tuesday, 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 NINE MILE POINT RD., WEBSTER (Rte. 250). Please join the family Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church (43 Gebhardt Rd., Penfield) for his Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Lung Cancer Research Division, in his memory. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery.
