Carla and I would like to express our condolences to you. You may or may not remember us from the family reunions. I am Nancy Woolston's son. We live in Penn Yan. Cancer is such a terrible disease. Carla lost her dad nearly six years ago to melanoma and an aunt three years ago to bladder cancer. We wish you and your families all of the best. Dan and Carla Woolston

I offer my sincerest sympathy to you all. A flood of memories of girl scouts and many other childhood times are rushing through my mind. Judy had a beautiful infectious laugh and I can just see her sitting at the kitchen table in our house with my mom (who is also gone), or at Christ the King school events. She was always willing to help anyone that needed it. She had a great strength and a great personality as well. Although it has been many years since then, it feels like it was all yesterday. She and my mom are up in Heaven having coffee and laughing about the old times (and probably us as well). I pray that you may know God's presence and that His strength will help guide you through this terrible loss. From the Abel family (Buzz, Sherry, Mary, Jeri & Terri)

Pam, I was saddened to read of Judy's death and want to express my sympathy to you and your family. Our parents were longtime friends, and my childhood memories of casual visits and long-planned vacations are filled with fun and laughter. After my parents had both died in the '90s, Judy mailed some photos to me that she had found of them from "the good old days". It was such a kind, thoughtful gesture from her, and, of course, the pictures made me smile and reminded me of the special connection between our families.
