Tommy was my first friend in ITOWN. I didn't attend Iroquois when we first moved to Irondequoit, I was finishing out my year at another school. In the Fall of 1972, I entered 7th grade at Iroquois and had no ITOWN friends at the time. I remember sitting in Mr. Dickson's English class, feeling pretty alone. Movement in the window of the closed door caught my eye and I looked up to see Tommy, with his GREAT smile and sparkling personality waving to me! I smiled back, laughed to myself, and knew that I would make great friends that year! After class, he introduced himself; he said he had heard there was a new girl and new girls were always welcome! :) Tommy and I became good friends, when I would see him, at any point in time, I knew I could always expect a big bear hug and lots of laughs! Tommy, my oldest and dear ITOWN friend, I will miss you. And I will never forget your kindness that lonely day! Love you Buddy, Michele<3
