Obituary of Frank Racey

Frank J. Racey Age 70. Beloved husband of Adrienne (Tusco) Racey; devoted father of Jason (Akiko) of Issaquah, WA and Jordan of San Diego, CA; grandfather of Noah and Owen Racey; loving brother of Bertha (Mathew) Janik, late E. John (Carol),and Dorothy (Joseph) Macielag; also survived by nieces and nephews. A native of Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late August "Bud" and the late Bertha(Pietras) Racey. Upon graduating from high school, Frank served in the US Navy at a radioman assigned initially at Radio Asmara in Eritrea and subsequently assigned on board the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. Upon his discharge he attended Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne Indiana where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering. He was currently employed as part of the sales team at Peter Parts Electronics, Inc., in Ontario, NY. He will be greatly missed not only by his family and friends but also by his loyal and loving canine companions, Kocoa and Kelly. His legacy of a devoted father who truly provided which will never be forgotten. Family will be present Friday 5-9 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 FAIRPORT NINE MILE PT. ROAD, WEBSTER. Frank's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave., Fairport. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to Saint's Place, 46 S. Main St., Pittsford, NY 14534. Interment, private. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the entire staff at the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital for their compassionate and understanding care.
