Obituary of Mildred Molinari

Molinari, Mildred C. (Pellegrino) Rochester: April 6, 2010 age 96 after a long dignified and often humorous battle with Lewy-Body Disease. Predeceased by husband of 52 years, Ralph & son, Robert of Bayport, NY; sisters, Agnes Mix & Lucy Beyo; brothers, Sam & John Pellegrino. Survived by daughters, Deanne of Fairport, Elaine of San Francisco, CA.; son, Richard (Frances) of Pittsburgh, PA.; daughter-in-law, Deborah of Bayport, NY; grandchildren, Suzanne (John) Mackay of McMurray, PA., Gregory, Amber & Bret Falconer all of San Francisco, CA., Robert & Rachel Molinari of Bayport, NY; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Mildred retired as a stenographer at Attica Correctional Facility and lived in Attica, NY for 63 years until she moved to Fairport, NY. Millie was active in the Attica Senior Citizens and the Garden Club. She was also active in the lives of her children and was one of their greatest cheerleaders and mentors. Millie's pies and Christmas cookies were renowned and eagerly awaited by family and friends. She loved crossword puzzles and word games and had a wonderful sense of humor. Despite battling cancer twice at an early age, Mom persevered with great inner strength and continued to live a full life. Calling FRI. 4-8 P.M. & SAT. 10 AM- 10:30 AM when Funeral Services will be held at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 NINE MILE POINT RD., WEBSTER (Route 250). Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory may be made to St. John's Home Auxiliary c/o Lori Lorraine, 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620. Millie's family extends it's appreciation to the Rochester Presbyterian Home & St. John's Home for the wonderful care Mom received for the past 10 years. Special thanks go to the staff of Reservior 6 at St. John's for their warm and professional caring and compassion. They have become family.
