Tantalo, Lucy J. (Imburgia)
Penfield: A devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister and aunt, Lucy passed away peacefully on April 4, 2010 at the age of 94.
Predeceased by son, Paul Charles (1952) and husband Joseph Louis (1968) as well as parents, Sam and Mary Imburgia and siblings Bessie, John, Patrina, Josephine, Anthony
and Rosemarie. Survived by daughters Marie R. Tantalo (Susan Pearce) of Penfield, NY and Tucson, AZ, Antoinette (William) Maddison of Rochester, NY and Paul James (Belinda) of Plymouth, MI. Also survived by granddaughter, Marie L. Bobb,and grandsons James W. (Jennifer) Maddison, Paul L. Maddison, Joseph (Kate) Tantalo, James Tantalo and John (Mary) Tantalo, ten great-grandchildren, her sister Angie Passamonte of Mount Morris, NY, sisters-in-law Josephine Carvill of Florida, Grace Tantalo and Margaret Imburgia of Rochester as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Betsy Whitford, HCR Aide for her loving care of Lucy over the past several months and to all of the many other HCR aides too numerous to mention who gave her such wonderful care over the last few years and especially in her final weeks . We also wish to extend our gratitude to Sharon Colucelli, RN and Laurie Sorge, NP for their ongoing support, counsel, care and concern.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport -Nine Mile Point Road (Route 250).
On Thursday, April 8, friends are asked to go directly to St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road for the celebration of her funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m.
Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI), the American Diabetes Assoc. or a charity of your choice.
