Obituary of Barbara McKay

McKay, Barbara (Tomkowiak) Webster. Age 67, entered into rest after a long courageous battle with cancer on March 10th, 2010. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Estelle Tomkowiak. Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother (Bachi). Survived by her life-long best friend and husband of 48 years, Charles. Sons Michael (Dawn), Scott (Jeanine), Thomas (Margaret), and daughter Donna Miller (Scott). Grandchildren, Ashley Whipple (Christopher), Brandon McKay, Cathorene McKay, Valerie Miller, Kyle McKay, Nathan McKay and Samantha McKay. Brother Frank (Mary) Tomkowiak, and Sisters Joanne (John) Schifano, Paula (George) Glidden, and Sister-in-Law Lorraine Engel. Many loving nieces and nephews. Special friends Karen Santoli and Marilyn Moran. Barbara worked at Kodak for over 30 years, loved outdoor activities with her husband and being with family. Barbara was a former member of St. Cecelia's church, current member of St. Rita's church. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 14th 1-6 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport - Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster, NY 14580 (Route 250). Please meet the family for a Celebration of life and Mass on Monday, March 15th at 9:30 AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 34 St. Stanislaus St., Rochester, NY 14621 and Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
