My heartfelt condolences to the Mascaro Family. I have nothing but fond memories of the St. James and Bishop Kearney years. Lou might not have always liked to see our group come through the door, but his home was always the most welcoming place to us kids trying to find our way during adolescence. He and Rita were always willing to drag me along to watch Marc's high school hockey games when my parents had little interest in the sport. May you rest in Peace Lou.

I just wanted to share that I always felt welcome in Rita and Louie home. The banner committee for New Covenant would work on banners every week and Louie was gracious enough to allow us to do that. He was always open to us praying and I really believe seeds where planted through the years for Louie to finally accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He would come out to dinner once and a while with couples from church and he was always someone who everyone felt comfortable with and we all loved him. He will be truly missed, as with the rest of our loved ones who have gone before us, we will all rejoice together someday in the presence of our Lord. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Finally healed and whole in the arms of Jesus.
