I had the privaledge of working with Jim at SanDisk. While I was living in CA he would come into the office from New York and we instantly hit it off as friends and really enjoyed working with each other. Our roots to 'Rochester, NY' opened the doors to our relationship and I was always so impressed with Jims' kind, sincere, and warm nature. There was something about Jim that was special. Call it a light or a glow. I could never put my finger on it, but it was special. His love for family, his faith, and all the people he came in contact with I'm sure were part of his unique nature. Jim was a great guy and I'm blessed to have known him. My heart and prayers go out to the family. Jim may you rest in peace with the Lord in heaven...God Bless you... Love, Keith

Jim graced us with his smiles every time I saw him at WYNIT or at a distant trade show location. He always had a nice comment and handshake. Our world is a little less bright today, however, the heavens have a new twinkle and for that we should all be blessed.

Life on this earth is a gift; a gift that my brother did not squandor or take for granted. When this gift is taken from us, it often leaves us asking "why?" But I like to think Jim's ultimate gift has been rewarded to him now, in a place among the righteous. Jim wasn't a man full of words wrought with emotion - he was a man of action. If he loved you, he would sooner show you than tell you. He set the bar pretty high for all of us, and I don't know if I can ever live up to his example. But I do know we'd all do well to take a page from his book and start showing our love the way Jim did.

I am very sad for Jim's passing, and my heart and prayers go out to Pam and his family. He was one of the really, really good guys of the Consumer Electronics industry -- totally ethical, very hardworking (he wouldn't let up no matter how sick he was, an amazing thing), smart, savvy, steady and just plain darn good fun to work with. I love the picture of Jim displayed, it goes so well with his laugh I can still hear. He will be missed, and impossible to replace. Peace.

I only met Jim a handful of times at meetings or trade shows. Otherwise our interactions were solely via email or phone. I found Jim to be a delightful, professional and generous man. He was a true pleasure to work with. I am saddened to hear of his passing and am saying prayers for his family's peace during this time.

My sincere condolences to the Gall family. Having worked closely with Jim in Canada through the last decade, I shall miss his warm sense of humour, his disarming smile, but mostly his friendship. I am both richer in wisdom and in spirit thanks to Jim's insights. Rest well my friend, as it is now our turn to carry on with you in our hearts. Your friend in Toronto - Bill.

Many Blessings to Pamela and the entire family. It is obvious from the many entries that Jim was a blessed man. We know here at the Mission that Pam and Jim have been a generous couple, and we are blessed and honored to be remembered at this time. We have faith to believe that Jim is now dancing in heaven with his creator, and that all who know and love him will have the opportunity to see him again. We will be praying for the peace and comfort for all who remain, from all of us at the Open Door Mission.

Diane, Eileen, Ed, and Mr. Gall- I am so sad for the loss you all must be feeling. The picture on this site is exactly how I remember Jim, and I have such great memories of the times I spent with your whole family when all of us "kids" were young. Jim was a great big brother, role model, babysitter for my brother Tim and I, and music expert (I still like Elton John because of all of Jim's records!). I pray that God will bless all of you, and your memories of Jim, who has surely left this world a better place. -Sandy

Dear Pam, My family and I are saddened by Jim's loss, so kind, so gentle, so loving, may God place him among the righteous, in Heaven with the Angels. My Mom, Dad and Sisters share your sorrow and send you and the family their condolences. Jim's good old memories will never be forgotten. My Dad asked me to quote this Paragraph from Kahlil Gibran's Book of The Prophet: "When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. Let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing." The Mina Family

Jim was like a brother to me – he will be greatly missed. Life doesn’t make sense; Jim loved life and his wife Pam. He lived a healthy life style but still lost his fight to cancer. It seems that it is true – only the good die young. I will never forget you buddy! I love you - Jim & Pam. Regards, Ed Havlik

Jim, I am so blessed for having known you. Always pleasant, always helpful, always optimistic. Despite the stresses and pressures of our work, you never had a harsh word to say about anyone or anything. 'Til the end, you were one of the good guys. Thank you for being such a great colleague. Rest in peace, dear friend. Pam, my heart goes out to you and I will be praying for you and your family. The Lord is near to those who seek Him.
