I had the pleasure of teaching A.J. and Christyn seventh grade English. I have vivid memories of A.J. as a great kid. He was handsome, athletic, and had a good sense of humor. He was also a good student and had many friends. I hold A.J. in my heart and mourn this great loss with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you begin to heal. I got to know AJ over two years as the teaching assistant in his seventh and eighth grade Spanish classes. Although Spanish was not his favorite subject, he always had a smile and friendly words for me. I will always remember his smiling face. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss.
