Obituary of Sarah Portanova

Portanova, Sarah M. (Nesta) Rochester: Age 92, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, November 30, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by husband, William; parents, Nicola & Mary Nesta; & brother Mauro (Esther) Nesta. She is survived by her sister, Theresa Nesta; and brother-in-law, Stephen Palermo; her daughters, Amelia (Allan) Gaesser, Madelyn (Charles) Delia and Debbie (Al) Harrison; grandchildren, Eileen (Kevin) Haller, David Gaesser, Matthew (Michelle) Gaesser, Susan (Brian) Wood, Sharon (Chris) Dolan and Michael Harrison; great-grandchildren, Amy Lynn, AJ, Zachary and Hannah Haller, Nicolas and Patrick Wood & Tristan Dolan. She is also survived by Jennifer and Kezia Harrison; Cindy, Bob, Eli & Emme Jeffrey; many nieces, nephews & cousins. Friends wishing to pay respects may do so Thursday, Dec. 3, 3:00-7:30 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. On Friday, Dec. 4, please join the family 11 AM at St. Louis Church (Main St. Pittsford) for the Celebration of her Funeral Mass.
