Obituary of Karl Gunther

Gunther, Karl W. Jr. Penfield: Sept. 9, 2009 peacefully at the age of 70. Born Jan. 6, 1939 in Ilion, NY; the son of the late Karl W. & Dorothea Gunther of Herkimer, NY. He is survived by his dearly loved wife and best friend, JoAnne (Fazio-Cascino). Karl was a loving and devoted father and grandfather to son, K. William Gunther and daughter, Kaitlin Rose; sons, Robert & Daniel Gunther; step-children, Carley (Clint) Kunzer & Richard (Lori) Cascino and their children, Juliana Marie & Jenna Joanne Cascino. Karl is also survived by many loving family and friends. He attended the University of Rochester, graduating with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He has done and accomplished many things in his life and to have worked for Xerox Corp. for 40 years. Later in his career, Karl was on the original USCO, DocuTech 135 Team as the World Wide Launch Manager and helped enabled the successful launch of the DocuTech 135 Family (beginning in October, 1990).
