I am deeply sorry for the passing of this good woman. My first wife Charlotte and I were present for the wedding of Ron and Donna, which made us feel very special as we were invited as Donna's special friends and we knew she had many others. Later, when Charlotte became terminally ill from colon cancer, Donna was frequently by her side and helped me and my boys to get through a time of great trial. We knew Dan and Michael only as small boys, but Rachel we knew from her infancy. I send my deepest sympathies to Ron, Dan, Michael and Rachel.

Dear Ron, Dan and Michael, For days now my mind races with the memories I have of all of you. Donna, wife and mom, is much too soon. I am so sorry. I am also glad you printed "melanoma". I did the same a few years ago when Bob, my husband died as he also had it. I hope that every time someone reads such a notice, it saves one more from its fierce emergence. I am very sad to read of Donna's passing. I enjoyed so much time spent with her on the Oak Hill tennis courts. Her smile and friendly manner always put me at ease. My sincere sympathy goes out to her family.

Dear Fielding family, I am so sorry to learn of your great loss. I had the pleasure of being Michael's kindergarten and first grade teacher. I never forget a good student (Michael) and fantastic parents (Donna and Ron). Donna added so much as a parent volunteer in my classroom! We even discovered we shared the same birthday! As the years went on I enjoyed running into Donna around town and getting the latest on the kids as they grew up. I feel so fortunate to have known Donna. Dear Ron, Daniel, Michael, and Rachel, We are all so very sad to hear of Donna's death. Wishing we had known of her illness and that we could have offered support to her. Please know that we are so grateful to have known such a lovely, kind, funny and beautiful lady. Our time as neighbors "back in the day" on Babcock Drive gives us such wonderful memories. Donna was such a good neighbor, and provided an example of what a good mother is. Our girls were just babies in those days, and seeing Donna's relaxed and loving admiration of her own children was a real joy to see. Our memories include watching Ron on his riding mower, a little boy on each knee, looking like the happiest guy on the planet! Donna's visits to our driveway with the boys was always a bright spot. She was so sweet with Mary and Paige, always smiling and enjoying their shyness with the boys :). Although we all moved away from Babcock Drive, in the years that followed it was always so great to run into Donna at Wegmans and various other places, where we would spend a little time catching up on our kids' lives. Our deepest sympathies to all of you from all of us. Please know that we are very sorry that we will be away on November 1 and will surely miss a beautiful tribute to Donna.
