To the Richardson Family... I am sorry to hear about Dean's passing. He was a real nice person and I befriended him when I went to Edison Tech and took up printing and plus he was in my homeroom. After ending my junior year, Dean helped me obtain a position where he worked along with his father Lenny and later on I worked at Franklin Press upstairs. He was a very good friend in my high school years and I was glad to have him as a classmate. Again I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Michael Lucyszyn

I first met Dean back in 1975 when he worked for Rochester Typographic and I began dating his co-worker, Steve Peterson. Dean's gentle spirit touched me in ways that words cannot describe. Even though I moved to the Washington, DC area in 1979, I stayed in touch with Dean through my sister, Jody Szczech, and saw him as recently as 5 years ago. Sometimes words just get in the way.... Dean was, and is, a truly unique individual. I am honored to have known him, and know in my heart that a beautiful spirit lived among us. I hope you will find comfort in your memories of him, as will I.

2-20-1952 ~ 6-9-2009 Dean died of fatal brain and bladder cancer. May he rest in heavenly peace. ~ Life is too short to be anything but happy. So kiss slowly. Love deeply. Forgive quickly. Take chances and never have regrets. Forget the past but remember what it taught you. Sometimes you just have to smile, pretend everything's okay, hold back the tears and walk away. If you want to see the rainbow, you must go through the rain. If you want true love, you must go through the pain. Women were made from a man's rib, not from his head to be superior, not from his feet to be walked on but from his side to be equal, from under the arm to be protected and from next to the heart to be loved. ~ Keep Dean's soul mate of 18 years, Annie Colangelo, and his parents, Eleanor and Lenny in your prayers. Dean was a fine man, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, juggler and flutist. Dean truly was, one of a kind! ~ Our family, along with Annie, appreciates your love, concern, and support at this time.
