Survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Veronica "Bonnie" (nee Merluzzi), loving daughters Irene and Veronica Ann, brothers-in-law James Merluzzi of Marietta, NY and Peter Merluzzi, of Las Vegas, NV.
Paul received an Engineering degree through Purdue University during active military service in the U.S. Navy as a pilot during World War II. Following an honorable discharge, he joined General Electric's Light Military Electronics Department as Manager for the Sidewinder Missile manufacturing project. He was named Senior Technical Consultant to the U.S. Liaison Office of NATO to advise nations on the techniques of manufacturing the Navy-developed air-to-air missile. One of his greatest thrills was being made a member of the exclusive F-100 "Mach Buster" Club while co-piloting the Sidewinder-armed aircraft.
Paul had a second career with Eastman Kodak of Rochester as a Quality Control Engineering Supervisor for commercial and professional products. After retiring, Paul turned his love of woodworking into a successful business making doll furniture and selling to toy stores and at craft shows in the Western New York area.

Interment, Holy Trinity Cemetery.
