"So ein Tag" "Such a beautiful day." This was Harold's wonderful outlook on life. Born July 15, 1927. He was predeceased by his parents, Christian & Emilia. Survived by his wife, Elvira (Mauch); sons, Erich (Anne), Kurt, Karl (Amy); step-children, Sandra Sweeney, Peter Sweeney, Christina (Ed) Brown; 12 grandchildren. Harold embraced life, he also had a lifelong love of music. He was a German-American choral director for 50 years. He also was a longtime accordion player and leader of the Royal Bavarians. Beside music, Harold was passionate about soccer and was a founding member of the Rochester Lancers. Harold was devotedly proud of his German heritage and will be missed by all who knew him in various German-American societies. Until we meet again, Auf Wiedersehen.
Calling, Tuesday May 26th, 4-8 at Falvo Funeral Home, Webster, 1295 Nine Mile Point Road (Rte 250).
On Wednesday family and friends will meet at Salem United Church of Christ (60 Bittner Street, Rochester 14604) for his Funeral Service at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to German-American Radio Program or American Heart Association in his memory. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
