May 17, 2009 I just wanted to write what my father meant to me and what a good man he was. First of all my father was my best friend, I could tell him anything without me fearing his response,he always looked out for my best interest. My father was a hard worker, always came home at night after a long day of work to see his wife and kids, he loved his family, that was his life.My father got to see alot of things in his life that alot of other fathers never did, like seeing all three of his grandchildren being born and able to spend some of there lifes with him, I'm sure he would of like to see alot more of their lifes. My father always had a smile on his face, who ever he met he would always bring a smile to that person, he had such a big heart. Everyone that I would run into that met my father always said what a sweetheart he was, I'm proud of that. I know my fathers in heaven and looking down on us now with a great big smile knowing how loved he was on this earth and what he has left behind, a family that his name and memory will never forget. God bless you Dad, thanks for all you've done for me, I'll miss you terribly but you'll always be in my thoughts and prayers, with all my love your son Michael

My father taught me strong moral values. He taught me personal responsibility. He taught me honesty and trust, he taught me to be compassionate and to respect all life. He taught me how to play and enjoy sports, he taught me how to make good decisions in life. He taught me to have fun and to laugh, he taught me the meaning of work, and he taught me the meaning of love. He did this by being a nurturing father, a baseball and bowling coach, a firm disciplinarian, a hard and dedicated worker, and a loving parent. My father was one who was there to share with me in times of joy and in times of hardship. Generously he gave me his personal time, his hard-fought efforts, and his true self so that I may grow up to face this challenging world with courage, hope, and faith. My father was not perfect and he did have his faults, his struggles, and his weaknesses. He taught me, however, how to face these problems and challenges with a positive attitude and a strong will. These examples and the great memories I have shared with my father are everlasting and have positively influenced my life like no one else could have. The significance of my father's influence on my life is my core. His love was truly unconditional, he was my number one fan through thick and thin. I know from my father and my experiences growing up how much it means to be the best father you can be for your children. Goodbye mentor, friend…………Dad. I’ll miss you. Love Always, Jim
