Nonna meant the world to me. She was my hero, my strength, my inspiration, my life, and so much more. I did whatever I could to be there for her when she needed me the most. I always thought she would be around forever, since she was a part of my life for 21 years. I would never forget her smile, her touch, her scent, the sparkles she always had in her, and most importantly her voice. I will miss how she used to make us all laugh with "Gwhy" and "I Love You Too," and best ever, "Thatsa Nice!" I feel like a part of me has been ripped away, and I will never be the same now that she is gone. Her last day was the hardest for me, but I did not say goodbye. I gave her a kiss, and said, "I Love You Nonna, I will see you later." Although we are all mourning, we need to be happy for Nonna. She is in a better place, and Nonno and God, are taking care of her. We were being selfish with her, its Nonno's turn now. She will forever remain in my heart. She's my Angel.
