My condolences to the entire family. Ray was one of my best friends growing up and I will miss him dearly. I always thought of you all as family and no matter how far apart we grew over the years, he was the next best thing to a brother that I ever had. I will remember him always.

I am a classmate of Ray's from the HIM program at MCC. Ray was such a joy in class, bringing a great guy perspective to a class of 97% women! I'll remember him as the one who always finished his tests w/great speed, to the amazement of his classmates and professors. He was in my study group and sat w/a large table of us at lunch, where he would regale us w/his philosophical take on class work, bringing laughter, light-heartedness, and relief to those of us who were stressed beyond belief Type A's to his easy going Type B. We would also get into great discussions about his favorite TV show at the time 'Alias' and the characters of his favorite comic books, especially Superman. Much to Ray's dismay, when Superman was brought to TV they made a sham of some of its strongest characters, Lois Lane in particular. Ray was a joy to be around, a true friend, and an inspiration as he worked his way up in his new field to a job he loved. To his family and friends - those we loved on earth will now become a memory, and that memory one of our greatest treasures. I am deeply saddened, and will miss him dearly. My prayers to you all.
