My lessons with Ray were often preceded by a short chat with Nick and I also had the pleasure of taking some lessons from him too. He introduced me to a new way of playing the guitar called "melody note" or "melody chord".
Since "Arthir' has affected my fingers this was a method of using partial chords which made guitar playing much easier for me. It also emphasizes a song's melody and greatly adds to my enjoyment of guitar playing.
Nick gave a demonstration and suggested I ask Ray to teach me the method. Ray did so and it has been a blessing. The first song I learned using this technique was Amazing Grace" and I think of Nick each time I play it.

My condolences to Nick's immediate and extended family. I met Nick while taking guitar lessons at Braseltons. He was such a gentleman. He offered inspiration and encouragement. He was so friendly and informal. Everyone loved him and will sorely miss him.

Connie & The Reda Family, We will miss Nicks' kind spirit. He was a gentle soul who was a great listener and wise friend. I will miss him at the Red Wings games also. Anyone close to him will know what a huge positive influence he was and how greatly he loved the Lord. Thank you to the Reda's and the Lord for sharing him with us. Connie and Family - we share in your grief. Nick was one of a kind - who gave of himslf and spread joy to all with whom he came in contact. He will be truly missed.
