Obituary of Ana Maria Caraballo
Ana Maria Caraballo
Rochester, New York. Ana Maria Caraballo, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her deep devotion to her loved ones, her generous heart, and the many lives she touched.
Ana was born on April 17, 1960, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, to Lucila Baez and the late Cristino Baez. She was the beloved wife of Hector L. Caraballo. Together, they built a beautiful life, raised three children, and shared 52 years of love, commitment, and treasured memories.
Ana was predeceased by her father, Cristino Baez; her stepfather, George Santiago; and her brothers, Frankie Baez and Carlos Baez.
She is survived by her mother, Lucila Santiago; her devoted husband of 50 years, Hector Caraballo; her children, Hector (Michelle) Caraballo, Lynette (Jose) Rosado, and Francisco (Vanessa) Caraballo; beloved grandchildren, Chasity, Saleana, Sherman, Serenna, D'Angelo, Hazel, and Ezra; and five cherished great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 11 siblings, many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.
Ana was truly unique. Everyone who knew her loved her. She had a joyful spirit and a presence that brightened any room. Her laughter was infectious, her love sincere, and her heart always open.
Ana loved her family above all. She spent her life caring for them, encouraging them, and making sure they felt loved. She always gave of herself and was ready to help anyone in need. Her kindness touched everyone she met.
Though her loss leaves a deep emptiness, Ana’s love will continue to live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and everyone blessed to have known her. The laughter she shared, the memories she created, and the love she gave so generously will remain in our hearts forever.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 North Goodman Street, Rochester, New York 14609, on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester, New York.
