I was very sorry to hear about Charlie. Charlie was good to me from the first day I met him at Camp Good Days and Special Times. He always had his bright white sneakers on, he was camp security, but most of all he made sure we all ate the Italian food he cooked with his pizans, after the kids went to bed! What fond memories! Charlie was a protector and you always knew Charlie had your back. When anyone ever needed help, I would say call 1-800-Call-Charlie! He was a big teddy bear and I am so glad I knew him. He was wonderful to my father too. He was a good man and I am sorry I missed his celebration of life. "Fair winds and following seas."

Some of the fondest memories we’ve have with Charlie is when we made the old “Shoot Don’t Shoot “ movies for the RPD. Charlie played a Bad Guy in several scenarios and his over the top acting was right on point. He was very convincing. We always looked forward to seeing him on his visits to Las Vegas for his annual security company conventions. We always got together and laughed over old times. Jane and I will miss him deeply. Our condolences to Joe and family.

Charlie was truly one of a kind. From his legendary, larger-than-life stories to his endless willingness to step up whenever anyone needed help. When Charlie came in to the room you knew it right away and he brought a personality, laughter and unshakable attitude. He truly had a heart of gold, knew so many people and left us all with many memories. My sincere condolences to the Fornataro family.
