Eliezer Cruz III ( Eli ) was born November 16, 1973, and on the early morning of March 21, 2026, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep.
Eli beforehand took on several responsibilities throughout his life by choice and pure love of those he let surround him. From being a son that helped his parents at any given chance, into a brother that was a ride or die to his siblings near or far, and a father to not only his blood children but those he accepted and loved as his own. Eli was a husband that protected and provided for his entire family as well as being a friend to count on and a shoulder to lean on. Eli was also a grandfather that loved his grandchildren as much as his children. Eli had a strong love for playing poker (especially Craps), he loved working on cars, watching movies and sports... but most importantly he was a family man above all.
Eli was predeceased by his late wife Shirley Aviles and father Eliezer Cruz Jr. He is survived by his mother Lydia (Alex) Cerna. Children; Jordan Cruz, Kaylina Cruz, Elias Cruz, Elian Cruz, Jamie Rivera, Oscar Rivera, John Serrano, Bryan Serrano, and Emily Morales. Significant other; Samantha Morales. Siblings; Elliot Cruz, Adrian Cruz, Eli Cruz, Lucia Cruz, Giovanni Cerna, Angel Jimenez, and Yahaira Robles. Grandchildren; Jayden Serrano, Layla Serrano, John Serrano Jr., Isaiah Serrano, Kailenna Rivera, and Alannah Rivera. And many many other close family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 2, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM with a Service at 1:00 PM BOTH at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
